Sabrina is a friendly and enthusiastic member of our team who helps create a welcoming experience for every patient. As the first point of contact for many of our patients, she greets everyone with a warm smile and works diligently to keep appointments running smoothly. Her upbeat personality, attention to detail, and genuine desire to help others make her an invaluable part of our front office. Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dachshunds, Oscar and Vienna. She is also a devoted OU fan and loves cheering on the Sooners!

Midwest City Eye Care Associates is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses, and our experienced doctors and staff are happy to help however they can.
Dr. Kathleen Yang
Optometrist
Dr. Kathleen Yang grew up in San Jose, California, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During optometry school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received the Marchon Ophthalmic Practice Management Award.
Dr. Yang gained extensive clinical experience through externships at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Portland, Oregon; VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, Nevada; and Castle Family Health Care in Atwater, California. She went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease and Ocular and Refractive Surgery at BVA Advanced Eyecare and TLC in Oklahoma, further advancing her expertise in medical and surgical eye care.
Dr. Yang is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. Since joining the practice in 2013, she has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, full-scope primary eye care to patients throughout the community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Yang enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their beloved cat, Nikko.
Dr. Brianna Prescott
Optometrist
Dr. Brianna Prescott was born and raised in Channahon, Illinois, a small town just outside of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Arts and Sciences from the University of Oklahoma before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. During her time at Indiana University, she completed clinical externships across the Midwest, including Vision Care Specialists in Des Plaines, Illinois; John-Kenyon American Eye Institute in Louisville, Kentucky; and Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indiana.
Dr. Prescott is passionate about staying current with the latest research and advancements in optometric care. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. Since joining our practice in May 2022, she has enjoyed returning to Oklahoma to provide comprehensive, full-scope primary eye care to our community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Prescott enjoys cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Stoops and Wigeon.
Dr. Jack Hopkins
Optometrist
Retired as of June 30, 2023
Dr. Hopkins was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma and has lived, worked and contributed to his community in Oklahoma all his life. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee after attending Oklahoma State University. Following graduation he served in the United States Army providing vision and medical eyecare. Dr. Hopkins supports our troops and has a great appreciation for their service to our country.
Dr. Hopkins is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. He attends numerous Optometric conferences, seminars and educational meetings to stay current on the latest eye care research and technology.
Janice
Optometric Technician
Janice is a valued member of our team who brings honesty, dedication, and a wealth of knowledge to the practice. She wears many hats and plays an important role in keeping things running smoothly, working closely with the doctors throughout the exam process and helping patients with their contact lenses. As our contact lens technician, she is a go-to resource for contact lens questions and support. Janice genuinely enjoys getting to know our patients and takes pride in making everyone feel welcome and cared for. Outside of the office, she loves spending time cheering on her grandchildren at their ball games!
Liz
Optometric Technician
Liz is known for her positive attitude, kind heart, and genuine care for our patients. She is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy vision and works closely with the doctors to ensure each patient receives attentive, compassionate care before and during their comprehensive eye exam. Fluent in Spanish, Liz also helps our Spanish-speaking patients feel comfortable and understood throughout their visit. Outside of the office, Liz enjoys being actively involved in her church and spending quality time with her family.

Sabra brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for patient care to our team. From greeting patients with a friendly smile to assisting the doctors during exams and helping patients find and adjust their perfect pair of glasses, she plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who visits our office. Her versatility, helpful nature, and attention to detail make her a valued member of our team. Outside of work, Sabra enjoys being actively involved in her daughter’s extracurricular activities and supporting her in all her endeavors.

She enjoys working alongside the doctors to provide excellent patient care and helping patients find eyewear that suits their individual needs and style. Her approachable personality and eagerness to help ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Outside of the office, Amber is very family-oriented and treasures spending quality time with her loved ones.
Shanaha
Optician/ Frame Stylist
Shanaha brings a welcoming personality and a personalized approach to helping patients find their ideal eyewear. She takes the time to understand each patient’s preferences, lifestyle, and unique sense of style, ensuring their frames are both flattering and comfortable. Her ability to connect with patients and make the eyewear selection process an enjoyable experience makes her an integral part of our team. Outside of work, Shanaha loves spending time with her young son and cherishing the special moments as she watches him grow.
Bryana
Optometric Technician / Optical Assistant
Bryana is a valued member of our team who brings enthusiasm, versatility, and a passion for patient care to everything she does. She works alongside the doctors to ensure patients receive attentive care and enjoys helping them find eyewear that complements their individual style and personality. With her knowledge across multiple areas of the practice and her warm, approachable nature, Bryana is always ready to help make each patient’s visit a positive experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active, working out, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Dottie.
