Comprehensive vision and eye health examinations

Yearly eye health and vision examinations are an important part of preventive health care. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms. As a result, individuals are often unaware that problems exist. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems are important for maintaining good vision and eye health, and when possible, preventing vision loss.

Diabetic examinations

Diabetes can harm your eyes. It can damage the small blood vessels in your retina, or the back of your eye. It is important to have yearly dilated eye exams to check for any complications.

Glaucoma management

Glaucoma is a group of diseases that damage the eye’s optic nerve and can result in vision loss and blindness. However, with early detection and treatment, you can often protect your eyes against serious vision loss.

Emergencies

Eye emergencies include cuts, scratches, objects in the eye, red eye, infections, etc…

Contact Lens fitting

Eye exams for contact lenses include special tests that typically are not performed in routine eye exams for eyeglasses. We fit soft, rigid gas permeable lenses and hybrid lenses.

Cataract surgery co-management

We co-manage with local cataract surgeon in pre- and post-operative care.

Refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, ICL) co- management

We co-manage with refractive surgery surgeons at NJoy Vision in pre- and post-operative care .For more information about refractive surgery options, you can visit their website at www.njoyvision.com

Retinal Imaging

Digital retinal imaging uses high-resolution imaging systems to take pictures of the inside of your eye. This helps the doctors assess the health of your retina and helps them to detect and manage such eye and health conditions as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. Finding retinal disorders as early as possible is critical to potentially preventing serious disease progression and even vision loss.
